Forest: Focus for Productivity App Reviews

You should make 3 apps we can choose and then use while the tree is growing. I study languages and I have a dictionary app I really need. Also, a lot of people use spotify. Please try to add this. Anyway, nice app.

I love this app! Im in college and use it all the time to track my studying and keep me on track. The break feature is really nice. I like how you can unlock different kinds of trees too. Highly reccomend!

This is a great app if you want to see your progress on work/social/tasks. Helps you space out your time and rest appropriately so you dont burn out. Like any other productivity app, its only as good as you implement it with fidelity and with the mindset that you keep to it and are honest with yourself in usage. Overall, I appreciate the addition of a break timer and the recent updates from the developers. I gave the app 5 stars because of its consistency and lack of bugs. Its very simple to use and pleasing to the eyes. Only thing Id suggest is increased variety or incentive for the different possible plants you can purchase (with your virtual coins earned from staying on-task). Anyway, Id recommend it.

This app is simply incredible! Everything from the apps functions to the design! Everything is stellar. As a person who lives by the pomodoro technique, the incorporation of breaks after a work session is amazing! Please get this app!

Feature is a bit simple though

This product is amazing for keeping me off my phone when I have to focus. Im loving the recent break option once a tree is completed. I only wish there more free options, though theyve added some, it is still pretty limiting.

This trend of requiring account for basic task is disturbing. I dont know the developers. Dont want to know or have to trust them. What benefit does an account have when iCloud APIs are freely available to us?? Next thing the coffee makers will ask to create an account too. Went to give them a feedback in app, guess what, need an account for that too. Please side with simplicity efficiency and privacy.

I was hesitant in buying this app because I procrastinate a lot and I like procrastinating. But this app really motivates me to do my work. Plant a tree and watch your forest grow. Leave the app for any reason, and youre a tree killer.

I really like this app, it helps me focus and keep from being distracted and gives me peace of mind that I wont miss any calls or messages from turning my phone off completely.

Really forces you to get off your phone. I use this app on all my devices and Im slowly (but surely) seeing great improvements!

As someone who struggled to completely walk away from my phone, this gives my mind an incentive. I absolutely loved this app from the first version I was introduced to till now. I like to block my entire phone usage and love seeing the small encouraging messages at the top that remind me to keep going on with my task. I cant think of any criticism except that you guys need to market yourselves more bc this is a great app!!

Ive been using this app for a few months now, and it has massively helped me in focusing on my tasks. I refrain from using my phone and only take breaks when I need to. Plus, planting trees while studying/working! Love it :)

Forest is the best productivity app that Ive used. The environmental awareness behind the idea is incredible, and I wish there were more apps like Forest that strive to make the world a better place as people use it. The interface is clean and user friendly, and there is a weekly competition that helps to incentivise me to use the app even more. I really love this app. It is one of the few non-free apps that I have, and I think it was worth every penny. I highly encourage everyone to get this app!

I have ADHD and struggle with focusing every day. This app doesnt resolve those issues, but it has been very helpful with discouraging me from getting distracted by checking my phone all the time. I highly recommend it as a great tool for those of us who struggle with focusing on one task at a time.

When writing its been important to lock out the internet and my phone is a weak point. I feel guilty enough when I kill a tree it keeps me from unlocking my phone to procrastinate
