Good app. Why need an account?

This trend of requiring account for basic task is disturbing.

I dont know the developers. Dont want to know or have to trust them. What benefit does an account have when iCloud APIs are freely available to us??

Next thing the coffee makers will ask to create an account too.

Went to give them a feedback in app, guess what, need an account for that too.

Please side with simplicity efficiency and privacy.
