Forest: Focus for Productivity 앱 리뷰

This app has really boosted my productivity by helping me track my time and see how effectively I’m using it. I also appreciate how smoothly it runs and how efficient it is. It’s a complete game-changer!

Helps focus a lot

Great app for focusing, app works well almost all the time. Developer is responsive to issues with the app, on the rare occasions they occur.

Randomly asked me to sign. I did and all my coins and trees I’ve purchased are gone.

Review update. Excellent response to my concerns. Unfortunately I found out Forest is not available as an upgrade premium in the USA. Hopefully it will be soon. Thanks for getting back to me! The original review is below when I tried to upgrade it, but couldn’t. Again, thanks for responding to me. I changed the review. I spent hours trying to find the crown, the icon on the left of the drop-down list on the menu, but still cannot find any way to upgrade to premium or pro. Plus, I also sent numerous messages to contact someone for help on this. I did everything possible and cannot still Find a way to upgrade. I also rebooted I have iOS latest edition and iPhone 15 Pro. I switched servers. I did the allow list. I did everything that I’ve been reading for hours and still cannot find a way to upgrade your premium or pro. Nothing is popping up on the app no matter what I do to change the configuration

I’m so much more productive with this app. It helps me focus and the flexibility to choose. The amount of time is so helpful.

I’m so sad to be writing this! I have been using forest for years and years and it has been amazing. Over the last 6 months, though, the app has gotten glitchier and glitchier. About a month ago it kicked me out and wouldn’t let me log back in (the screen kept flashing and crashing when I tried to click the log in button). I uninstalled the app and when I reinstalled it the custom allow list function no longer works properly. It crashes every time I try to add an allowed app in the entertainment or finance categories. I reached out for support and the response was “thanks for letting us know!” I’m honestly deviated that this app no longer works.

It gets really glitchy when I try to change the block list. The most useful app on my phone though. Seriously if that gets fixed, I will gladly change to five stars.

It really helps me to focus on my studies!

This is such a useful tool to stay focused and track my focus work! So many extra features that aren’t needed but are really helpful!

I really love this app I genuinely think it’s amazing I was wondering if we can change the timer though to have it as long as we want instead of only 120 minutes sometimes I’m to emerged in my work to restart the clock, it would also be nice if adding friends on the app was a bit easier because the app makes it hard to add Anyone and sometimes it doesn’t even let me add people but other than that the app is amazing not many changes needed I can’t wait to see the cool updates if we get more flowers and stuff

I’ve been using the Forest app for a few weeks now at the direction of my therapist and it’s been extremely helpful. Definitely try it!

Out of nowhere, my account was wiped and I can’t get it back..

Please fix the broken widget! My widget hasn’t been updating for a while now and I miss getting to see my trees from my homescreen!

Helps you stay off phone.

This app helps me refrain from mindlessly reopening and/or refreshing apps. Refocuses your energy off the doom scroll machine.

Forest is the outstanding productivity all available. It is playful and fun so serious and creative projects can come to life. I owe my doctoral thesis to the mushroom and golden wings

Forest has been great so far! I’ve literally completed hours worth of cleaning this week. I love the little trees and being able to plant with my friend. I also love the count up timer as I hate normal timer focus options that force me to break focus but this is great! I have some issues with the allow list (customizable lists of apps you’re allowed to use while focusing). The main thing is my app freezes whenever I try to add anything from the education section or search for particular apps. That’s my only sincere problem with the app though. The following are just some possible suggestions I’ve thought of: I would appreciate the ability to change allow lists and/or task tags partway through a session. A pause/break option (with allow list still functioning) because sometimes things do come up or maybe you get tired Honestly that’s it. I really like this app so far though

I have multiple tags for the things I focus on, which is helpful for the charts and graphs it provides, but it keeps deleting or changing the names of them. Nearly every time I go to start a timer with a tag, half of my tags are renamed to have a 1 or 2 at the end of it. I’d have a “Study” timer but when I look at it I’ll have a “Study 1” “Study 1 1” and a “Study 1 1 1” timer, or even worse the study timer would just be deleted. Please fix this bug as it makes it feel pointless to track what I’m doing if you’re going to keep deleting, adding, or renaming my tags

Been using since 2018. Life changing for those with adhd. It helped me get into NYU and graduate with honors in high school. Can't recommend it highly enough. I'm devastated that they switched to a subscription model. I Guess the investors got really greedy.

I’m enjoying being able to “grow” pretty plants. This is helping me somewhat with my ADHD to keep on track for longer than I have been able to focus in the past. I’m still learning the app and settings but so far I’m happy.

This app really helps me to record my studying time efficiently. I love the sounds you can use and the different flowers you can buy with your points from studying. My only problem is that I wish it had a sound to tell you when your study session is over or when your break is over. That’s all

I love this app. Been using it for years. Ever since the new forest challenge beta, it’s been glitchy. The newest glitch is me not being able to do any challenges. No challenges appear and it says it will refresh in 1,975 years. I am not able to get my sunflower at this rate. It’s been happening for 2-3 days now. Please fix or compensate with sunflower and ill change my rating. Thanks.

One day I woke up and i was logged out of my account. I had created this account a while back and then started using the app again consistently and collected coins and bought some gems but then I was logged out and none of my logins worked. I tried contacting their support team but they do not answer.

No daily challenges after recent update :(

This app has already benefited my life in so many ways since I have had it.

Glitch with new update where my daily challenge refresh is set at 1975 years, 9months

Almost every time I go to the “Focus Challenges” there are so many bugs. Sometimes I finish the challenges and it won’t let me get the award. Now challenges are not even visible and says “1,975” yrs, 9 mths”. I have been using this app for so many years and it seems that these bugs are getting out of control now. So sad. It was a good app, I’m considering to delete it.

Helped a lot my productivity. Trees are cute.

The function of growing trees while studying/focusing works and is nice, but there are frequent bugs afflicting the focus challenges.

Everything was great and it helped a lot with school.

App is broken. Crashes whenever I try to make an allow list. Doesn’t even work to disallow the apps I set to disallow. The allow list function is so poorly made , it should be the disallow list, you should select the things you want to disallow not vice versa, or atleast have the option to switch to disallow , apparently it won’t work if you allow more than 49 apps. I would love it if it actually did what it was supposed to be the app is broken and doesn’t work.

Focus challenge page crashed and did not log my accomplishments of challenge!!

This app doesn’t work the way that it’s supposed to and it’s buggy. Waste of $4

I love this app but the challenges are broken which really take the enjoyment out of it for me. Please fix it so it counts correctly and I can get my rewards!

The focus challenge was designed by a psychologist to cause distress. You see tasks that you can complete for a reward. You complete the task. Reward status does not update. It's like when you work out for three hours and your apple watch fails to update your rings. I spent way too much time trying to refresh the app to get credit for these challenge tasks. It's embarrassing. I just have to delete forest and get on with my life. Seemed fun but it is actual psychological torture.

Very good app! Is there a way to get updates on the tree we planted? I want to make sure that my coins are actually being used for it! Thank you for the lovely app.

I found the app on chatgpt. I was looking for ways to increase my reading and make it more entertaining and maybe impossible to forget. An app that gives you that craving to go and read! This app helped me and the ideas of planting trees while you’re doing something and focusing is just so cute! Thank you guys!

Love this app, helps me get my work done and keeps me from avoiding the task

Long time user of years. I update and now they’ve put behind a paywall things which we had already payed for like the save your favorite settings. Feeling betrayed. I won’t recommend Forest to anyone anymore, such a shame. Shame for real.
